      This guide details the process for installing the GlobalProtect VPN on both macOS and Windows devices. \ \ If you are a student and you are receiving an "Invalid Client Configuration" error while connecting to the VPN, it is likely that you do not have access provisioned for your account.       Windows: Installing the GlobalProtect VPN

      Open a web browser of-choice and navigate to the following website: - <https://grizzvpn.oakland.edu> Sign-in to your account with your NetID & password --&gt; Click the "Download Windows 64-bit GlobalProtect Agent" button

      Find the GlobalProtect Installer from your saved downloads and double-click the "GlobalProtect64.msi" installer file.

      Click the "Next" button several times to proceed with VPN installation. Once the VPN has been installed successfully, you may close the setup window.

      The VPN is indicated by a greyed-out "Globe" icon. If it is not already present in the bottom-right corner of your taskbar, click the "^" icon to find it in your tray. Click the "Globe" icon.

      Click the blue "Get Started" button to continue

      Enter "grizzvpn.oakland.edu" for the "Portal" address --&gt; Click the blue "Connect" button.

      Sign-in with your NetID & password in the window that opens and click the blue "Sign In" button.

      Upon signing-in, please wait a few seconds. Once the connection is successfully established, you will see so in the VPN window.

      Find the GlobalProtect Installer from your saved downloads and click the "GlobalProtect.pkg" file.

      Click "Continue" --&gt; "Continue" --&gt; and "Install" to install the VPN. Once successful, close the installer.

      Click "Continue" --&gt; "Continue" --&gt; and "Install" to install the VPN. Once successful, close the installer.

      The VPN is indicated by a greyed-out "Globe" icon. This icon will be in the upper-right corner of your display within the navigation bar. Click this icon.

      Enter "grizzvpn.oakland.edu" for the "Portal" address --&gt; Click the blue "Connect" button.

      Sign-in with your NetID & password in the window that opens and click the blue "Sign In" button. Upon signing-in, you should be connected to the VPN.

      Troubleshooting Issues

      If you are experiencing an issue where the VPN is endlessly attempting to connect on both macOS / Windows, you can attempt to refresh the connection.

      Click the "Globe" icon --&gt; In the upper-right corner of the VPN window, click the three-lined menu button.
