Install the 3CX desktop application using the link below.

Once the 3CX desktop application has been downloaded and installed.

Open the desktop app, and you'll see it requires provisioning.

Follow steps below to provision and login to the application.

Navigate to your 3CX URL, for example <https://tronic.3cx.com.au/>

Enter your email address and password, then click "Login"

If you do not know your password then click the "Forgot password?" button as per below.

Once logged into the webclient.

Click Apps on the bottom left of the webclient.

Even though we are not installing the "Windows app" click the "Windows app"

The 3CX Softphone app for Windows allows you to make calls, view colleagues status, chat, schedule a video conference and check voicemail - all from your desktop.

You may get this security popup. Tick the Always allow box and then click "Open Pick an application" button

The desktop application should now be logged in, working. You can now close the webclient and use the desktop application.

NOTE: Never run multiple applications such as desktop app and Windows app at the same time. Also, do not run the webclient and the desktop app or Windows app at the same time. Close one.
