First make sure you have installed the Microsoft Authenticator App <https://apps.apple.com/us/app/microsoft-authenticator/id983156458> on your Apple iPad or iPhone

If this is the first time you have opened Microsoft Authenticator, press **Add account**

Otherwise, Press **+**

If you are adding a Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard or Premium account, press **Work or school account**

If you are adding a Microsoft 365 Personal account, press **Personal account**

You will be prompted to either Sign in or Scan QR Code, normally it's easier to scan a QR code

For QR Code to work you must have given Microsoft Authenticator permission to access your camera

Point your Apple iPad or iPhones rear camera at the QR Code to add the account

You should now see your Microsoft 365 account listed in Authenticator

For notifications to work you must have given Microsoft Authenticator permission to send notifications

When further authentication is requested by your Microsoft Business account, you should receive a notification on your Apple iPad or iPhone that will then prompt you if you are trying to sign in.

You need to enter the number you can see on the screen and then press **Yes**

Another way to sign in is by tapping on the account to get a One-time password code which changes every 30 seconds
