Tip! This guide uses the HSNO module to explain how Additional information is managed within BMIS, but the process is the same for all modules.

You can add extra information to your Buildings/Locations that is not a legal necessarily a legal requirement or compliance related. To do so, click on 'Additional Information' in the left pane of your HSNO dashboard.

To add a document, click the 'New Document' button in the top right corner of the screen.

You’ll be prompted by a window. Upload your document and complete the fields with the document information.

You can add 'Tags' to your document to create categories of documents. To enter a tag, type in the text, and push the enter key to complete the tag.

Tip! For the HSNO module only. By clicking this checkbox, you'll add the uploaded document to the inspection and certification dossier for the certification inspector to see.

Tip! For the Asbestos module only, By clicking this checkbox, you'll add the uploaded document to the Asbestos Management Plan as an appendix document.

Once you finish filling in the details, click the 'Add' button to save the document.

A confirmation message will appear, indicating that your document was saved successfully.
