Add and Edit Users

This guide outlines the steps for creating new user accounts. It also covers password requirements and other details related to the account creation process.

Add User

Navigate to the "Users" tab on the Dashboard

Click the "+ ADD" Dropdown. Select Add User.

Enter the **First Name** and **Last Name** of the user. User’s first and last name will appear on certificates and DOL cards. Please double check spelling on entry.

Enter the **Email Address** for the User.\ The email address will be used to communicate course assignment notifications\ \ **Mobile Number** is optional, but must contain a valid area code (US or Canada).\ **Employee ID** is optional, but can be used as a unique identifier for each user.

Enter user's **Password**

**Passwords must meet the following requirements:**\ • Minimum of **8** characters\ • One uppercase letter\ • One lowercase letter\ • One number\ • One special character or symbol\ • Cannot be the same as email

Users are able to reset the initial password for their account by logging in at<https://www.clicksafety.com/customer/account/login/> The admin will not receive notice or have access to view any changes that the learner makes to their password after initial setup.

Click "ADD"

Wait while the user account is created

Usernames are automatically generated using a combination of first and last name.

The user has been added

Export Users

Click "EXPORT" button on the User Dashboard Select a location to download the file.

Open the Export file which contains the following fields for each user - FirstName - LastName - Email - PhoneNumber - EmployeeID

Edit User

Navigate to the "Users" tab on the Dashboard

Search for the user to Edit

Click the user's name to open the User Detail page

Click "EDIT"

Update user information

**First Name** and **Last Name** are not editable, as they are displayed on certificates and DOL cards. Please contact Support for assistance.\ **Passwords** cannot be reset by an administrator; this feature will be available soon.

Click "SAVE"

User information has been updated
