Navigate to the course with the reading list you want to add items to.

Click "Search the library" to search our library catalog Primo.

Click the "Search for print, digital, audio and visual resources" field and enter your query.

Click "Advanced search" if you want a more detailed search.\
Click "Basic search" to return to the default search.

Once you put in your search, navigate to the item you want to add to the list and click the "+" to add item to the list.

The default option should be to add to "list," but you can also add items to suggestions or your resources if you don't want this item to show up on your reading list.

Click "Add" to automatically add the item to the list. You can also click "Add and edit" if you want to make changes to the record, such as adding attachments or links.

You should get a note that says, "Item was added to the list and sent to the library for processing," confirming that you successfully added it to the reading list.

You can click on "Full details" to add due dates, notes for the students, or tag the item.

When you add certain items to the collection, you may get a pop-up.

Choose the selection that applies for the item. This will tag the item with information that helps communicate important information to the Course Reserves Manager, including if you want the item on our physical Course Reserves shelf behind the Resource Desk or if you want us to purchase an item.

Click "OK" to send that information to the library.

To rearrange items in the reading list, you can click on these 6 dots next to the item and drag it where you want it to be on the list.

Click "My list is ready" when the list is ready for the Course Reserves Manager to review. This will publish the list to Canvas and be visible to anyone who has access to the course.
