Navigate to [https://yccs.powerschool.com/admin/home.html](https://yccs.powerschool.com/admin/home.html)

On the Quick Search page, enter the information to locate the student record you want to work with.

Search by the student's name by entering the first few characters of the student's last name. If you have smart search enabled, a drop down list will appear. Click the name of the student. 

On the "Student Screens", click "Historical Grades"

Locate the row that corresponds with the online course that was entered manually and is missing Illinois State information. Tip: This view does not display state information, but the course number may be blank and the course name may contain Aventa, FuelEd, Peak, or Odysseyware. 

Click the letter grade to access the Edit Grade page.

Enter the missing course number. Tip: When a course number is added that matches a course in PowerSchool, the course name will disappear from the Edit Stored Grade page until you submit your changes.

Enter the name of the teacher who manages online courses at your campus.  The name must match how the teacher's name is listed in PowerSchool.

If the "Percent" field is blank or has a zero value, add the percent grade the student earned.

Review other information such as (GPA Points, Earned/Potential Credit Hours, Credit Type) for accuracy.

Scroll to the Illinois State Information Section, and Click "Show" to reveal state fields.

Click the "State Course Level" dropdown menu and select "General Education".

Click the "State Course Setting" dropdown menu.

Click "Online Learning (Internet-based)(03)".

Click the matching term from the "Term" dropdown menu. 

The Student Course Start should match the student's first day of class for the semester.  Use the calendar picker icon to choose this date or enter the date formatted as (mm/dd/yyyy). Tip: View the All Enrollments page to identify the start date for other class enrollments during the semester. 

Click the "Student Course End Date" field to enter the last day of the semester. 

Click the "Articulated Credit" dropdown menu and select "No". 

Click the "Dual Credit" dropdown menu and select "No". 

Click the "Competency Based Education" dropdown menu and select "No".

To ensure accurate State of Illinois/CPS end-of-year data collection, all online courses must correspond with a Course and Section that is assigned to a teacher in PowerSchool. There are circumstances where this is not possible and the grade for the completed online course is added manually to the historical grades page. Follow the steps below to reduce the errors on the Student Course Assignment report.
