To integrate Klaviyo with Tall Bob, you must add the Klaviyo Public and private keys to your Tall Bob Account. To ensure a seamless integration, please complete all the steps involved in both parts. 

Part 1: Adding your Klaviyo Public Keys in Tall Bob

Login to your Klaviyo Account [https://www.klaviyo.com/dashboard](https://www.klaviyo.com/dashboard)

Head over to the bottom left of the screen and click your Account Name\
Next, select "Settings" from the menu

On the Settings &gt; Account screen, you'll see "API Keys" -  you'll need to click that. Don't worry, APIs are easier than you think.\

You will see your 'Public API Key'. This is the unique code that enables other web apps to connect to and from your Klaviyo account.

Copy this API key, we usually just do a CTRL+C (PC) / CMD+C (Mac) or right-click your mouse and copy.

Log into Tall Bob through <https://app.tallbob.com/integrations>\
Or, just log on as you usually do, and navigate to Integrations by clicking on the Settings gear in the top right-hand corner.

Scroll to Klaviyo Integration and find the Public API Key/Site ID field. Paste your unique Klaviyo Public API Key into this field.

Now, click "Enabled" on Event Sync.
Event Sync means that any 'event' that is triggered by an action by a Tall Bob SMS or MMS send, such as a message delivery, an opt-out,  or a click of a link can be passed back into the Klaviyo platform in real-time.

Part 2: Adding your Klaviyo Private Keys in Tall Bob

The next step is to add your private keys.\

Navigate to <https://www.klaviyo.com/settings/account/api-keys>

If you have an existing Private Key, Click on the 'Copy Icon' next to the Private key you wish to use

To generate a new private key, click the 'Create Private API Key' button

Provide a name for your private key and select the Read/Write access options for the following:\

• Campaigns\
• Events\
• List\
• Metrics\
• Profiles\
• Segments\
• Subscriptions

Once the necessary details are provided, click 'Create'

Copy the private key displayed under the 'Your Private Key' section

Navigate to <https://app.tallbob.com/integrations> and paste the copied private key under the Private API key field

Next, click "Enabled" on Contact Syncing.

Contact syncing means we can move customer information between Tall Bob and Klaviyo using both the customer ID and using Klaviyo segments.

Event Sync means just that: when an event occurs that impacts SMS and MMS, like a delivery, a click or an opt-out.\
Contact Phone Number Cleaning is something we recommend, but we don't suggest enabling this without chatting with your Tall Bob account manager.\
Contact syncing is like Event Sync, but with your customer data. Enabling this means that your customer data can flow from Klaviyo to Tall Bob (for your account only!).

Now that you're happy with your options, click "Save".

And, you're all done. This means you can now send by webhook, segments, campaigns and more.

Getting Klaviyo and Tall Bob connected is easier than you think. It's just a question of APIs and webhooks. Simply put, it's about letting your Klaviyo account talk to Tall Bob account, and vice versa. 

Here's the great news -  it'll take about 3 minutes and you'll only need to do it once.

You will need to complete this step before you can start sending via Tall Bob.
