1
From the Customer Screen, press the pink menu button
2
Then 'add new customer'
3
Enter the customer name and address details
4
Start with either the first part of the address or the post code to see the results.
5
If no exact match is found, you can still pin point on the map and adjust the text.
6
When you are happy, press 'pin here'
7
Next add email address and telephone numbers. We advise keeping all mobile numbers in the primary field and landlines in alternative. Then add any customer source information that can later be pulled up in reports.
8
Any customer notes can be added to the description field. Important notes that can be viewed from the planners as operators need to have no spaces and be prefaced with a 'hashbang'
9
From here, you can update any of the customer settings to differ from the default settings on the account.
10
After pressing save on the customer details, there are some options on screen to create a job, quote or appointment or you can also see these options from the pink menu button.

12
Add services to the service list - once added you'll be able to select them next time. Then add a price, and we'd recommend pricing by service rather than job so that if extra services are added, they have separate line items on the invoice.
13
There's also an option to add an initial appointment price on repeating jobs.
14
Then set the schedule that will come up with your account default on the current day to start.
15
Adjust the schedule if you need to and set the start date.
16
Then set a time on the appointment if you need to. The default is any time.
17
Next, set the job duration - where possible it's a good idea to add this fairly accurately as it is used to calculate the start and end times of appointments and route planning.
18
Job notes can be added here, these can be viewed on the appointments seen by workers. To add an important note that also shows on the planner, preface with a 'hashbang' again.
19
On saving the job details, you'll be able to see the appointment on the work planner.
20
If you click into the work planner, you'll be able to view all the details and for repeating jobs, go through to future appointments.
