Apply A Search Alert

A Search Alert is simple automated email that sends properties of interest for a specific contact and is the number 1 driver of website engagement.

From your dashboard click into the Omnisearch Bar and type "Contacts"

Click ***System > Contacts***

Click "Needs Search Alert"

Select and click on one of your Contacts in the list to open the Contact record.

From the *Engagement* section of the record, click ***+Add*** to start setting up the Search Alert.

From the ***Search Alert Title*** section, click *Search Alert* to enter a name for this alert.

Here's an example of a Search Alert title using your Contact's name: **Homes for Janice**

In the ***Frequency*** field, you can choose how often you'd like Search Alert emails to be sent. Click the dropdown to see all options.

Next, click the "ex. city, county, zip" field.

Type the name of the city or area you wish to include. You may enter more than one.

Select and click your desired area from the ***Area(s)\**** suggestion list. In this example, we've selected "City : San Bernardino, CA". Your selections vary based on your MLS.

Once selected, the Area(s) are displayed in the grey box below the text field.

Here you will select the property type.

For this example we have selected "Single Family"

Continue adding additional about **Which Listings to Send** in this section.

Once you have made your selections, click "Set Alert". This will send an email to your client with any new listings that meet the criteria you selected.

Great job! Now do that for everyone else in the saved filter. If you have a large list, start by applying 10 each day.
