Applying for a Music Apprenticeship Training Grant

Ensure you are logged into your account. This icon will be dark if you are logged in.\ \ You must have already created a sound technician profile to be able to apply for funding.

Click the magnifying glass in the top right of the site, to search for the event you wish to provide training at.

Type the name of the event. You may get an automatic pop-up match, or you many need to hit enter to run a full search. \ \ If the event hasn't been listed, you will need to list it.

Once you have clicked through to the event page, click\ "Apply for Apprenticeship / Training Micro-grant"

Choose an application category, depending on the type of training you are going to provide. Please read the descriptions and conditions carefully.

Enter your name in the "senior sound tech name" field.

If this is a mentorship, enter the name of the developing tech you are training. If it is a workshop, you do not need to fill in this field.

Enter the amount of money you wish to request. The maximum amonut per type of activity is listed above. \ \ Note that half of this amount will go to you, and half to the presenter of the event hosting the training.

Fill out the "request details" to explain why this training is worth funding. \ What will you teach? Who will you teach it to? How will this strengthen the arts community?

Click the "update" button to proceed to the next step.

Carefully read the terms and conditions, and then \ click "I Agree to the Application Conditions"

Click "update" to submit the final application.

Review your application to make sure it looks good. If not, click the gear to the right of "event support request" and select "edit"\ \ If your Junior or Senior techs don't already have profiles, you can click their names to create a profile for them.
