ClickBid software runs a check for bidders based on contact information. To avoid duplicate records, ensure contact information is also on file for bidders. 

When having your bidders register themselves on the landing page, bidder numbers are automatically assigned. If you'd like to specify which number you would like the system to begin assigning numbers at, follow the steps below. Otherwise, the system will automatically begin assigning bidder numbers at 100 (with the exception of the admin contact, who is assigned the bidder number 90 when the event is created).

Enter in your desired number in the starting bidder number box.

When having your guest's purchase tickets through the landing page, there is a manual process to assign bidder numbers. 

Click on the correct ticket page (if you have more than one).

You are able to update up to 100 records at a time by selecting to show 100 entries. 

Select the checkbox in the top left corner to select all bidders. 

Type Make Bidder, and select update to save your changes. 

All of the guests that you selected will show on the manage bidders page now with numbers starting at 100 and working its way up in numerical order.

Be sure to filter the 'Bid # Assigned' column by No to avoid duplicate records from being made on the Manage Bidders page.

If your bidder numbers on the manage bidders page are set to begin at a number higher than 100, your guests that were just converted will go up in numerical order from the last highest number assigned on the manage bidders page. 

When uploading your bidders on the backend of ClickBid, You can specify bidder numbers for your bidders, or let ClickBid Auto-Generate those numbers for you. 

Click "Manage Bidders", and scroll to the bottom of the page.

Click "Download!" to download a bidder template.

Once you have filled out the template, save it as a CSV UTF-8, and drop the file in the field below to upload. 

If there is more than one bidder with the same contact information, you will receive a warning message at the top of the page. Bidders will still upload.

You are able to update your bidder numbers in batch by navigating to Bidders &gt; Manage Bidders. Select to show all entries at the top of the page. 

Click this checkbox to select all bidders.

Click the "Bidder Number" field, and type in your desired starting Bidder Number 

All of the bidder numbers will now be reassigned beginning at the number that was indicated in the 'Bidder Number' field.
