Click the "Any Status" dropdown to search by a specific status.

Click "Converted" to see all enquiries that have been converted into an event.

Click "Expired" to view all expired enquiries.

Click "Download" if you wish to download all enquiries either in PDF or CSV format.

Click the "Enquirer" field to add an individual that you have added to the Hop database already.

Or you can click the green + button to the right of the Enquirer field, if you wish to add a new individual.

Here you can add a type of enquiry, such as, group booking, a celebration event etc.

Click the Status dropdown to add the status of the event/stay, for example, confirmed, provisional, awaiting reply etc.

Click the "No of adults" field to add number of adults.

Click the "No of children" field to add number of children.

Click the "No of infants" field to add number of infants.

Add notes here about the enquiry for your staff members to see.

Click "Assignee" dropdown to link the enquiry to a staff member in Hop. This will then send the assignee an email with the notes section that you fill out.

Here you can add the expiry date for the enquiry.

Depending on how you have your property set up, with the choice of either, the system automatically deleting all enquiries on their expiry dates or, if you have this feature turned off, you will need to remove them yourself. (See next slide on how to toggle this option).

Click "Administration" from the Hop main menu.

Click "Property" from the Administration menu.

Click the "Cancel Enquiry on Expiry?" checkbox to toggle this setting on or off.

Ensure you click "Update Settings" at the bottom of the checkboxes to save this change.

Click "Convert To Event" on the enquiry to turn the enquiry into an event.

It will then take you to the "Manage Events" section of Hop.

You will then see your enquiry converted into an event.

To remove an enquiry, click the red trash icon to the right of the enquiry.

Click "Confirm" to delete this off the system.

If you want to edit an existing enquiry, just click on the enquirer name in blue.

You can then edit any fields that you like and click "Save".

Before you create your first enquiry, you will need to configure a couple of the dropdown options. To do this click "Administration" from the Hop main menu.

Click "Option Sets" from the Administration menu.

Select "Enquiry Type" from the dropdown list. Then add in your different enquiry types, for example, Christmas, group booking, party etc.

Select the "Enquiry Status" option from the dropdown list, then add the different statuses you want to choose from, for example, provisional, waiting on guest etc.
