Cadences Configuration for All Phone Systems

      Installing Phone System for the First Time

      Let's get your cadences configured!\ **For smrtphone**: Check that you have the most recent package installed in your org by logging into your smrtPhone account and selecting the "Managed Package" link shown here. Then, install for all users. If you're setting up a smrtPhone account for the first time, we recommend using our [affiliate link here](https://www.smrtphone.io/affiliate/leftmainrei/) for a discount.
      You will be taken to a screen similar to this one with a prompt asking if you want to install for one or all users. Choose all users.
      **For RingCentral**: Install Ring Central <https://login.salesforce.com//packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04t6g000008s6Kw> For all other integrated phone systems, visit <https://blog.leftmainrei.co/3rdpartyintegrations>.

      If Phone System Was Previously Installed

      Click gear icon.
      Click Setup.
      Click the "Quick Find" field.
      Type and click "Installed Packages"
      For Smrtphone and other phone systems, make sure you have the most updated package installed for all users.

      Cadence Configuration

      After you've verified version and/or after you have installed, we are ready to start configuring. Click the "Quick Find" field.
      Type " custom"
      Click "Custom Metadata Types"
      Click "Cadence Configuration"
      Click this "manage cadence configuration"
      Click "Initial Configuration"
      Click this button field.
      Choose your phone provider to use for Cadences.
      Click save.
      Click "Custom Metadata Types" again

      Phone System Configuration

      Now we are going to configure the phone system. You will notice there are multiples, Ring Central, Smrtphone and more.\ \ Click on yours...in this example let's click "SmrtPhone Configuration."\ \ Note: the next few steps will be similar but may be slightly different depending on your preferred phone system.
      Click this button.
      Click "Smrtphone Configuration"
      Click this button.
      Input your own API key in the "Access Token" field.
      Let's grab the API key from Smrtphone (you should be able to follow similar steps if using a different phone system) On the [smrtphone.io](http://smrtphone.io) website click Admin button
      Click "API Tokens"
      Click "Show token"
      Copy your token
      Paste your token in the Salesforce Access Token field, then click save.
      The steps above are completed on behalf of customers during implementation. Customers should **reference the steps below when adding new users**.

      Add Users to Call Center

      Next, let's add your users into the Call Center Click the "Quick Find" field.
      Type and click "Call Centers"
      Click "smrtPhone CTI Adapter" (or your phone provider's call center)
      Click this button.
      Click this button.
      Select "Active" from this dropdown.
      Select "equals" from this dropdown.
      Click this text field and type "true"
      Click find.
      Click this top checkbox to select all active users.
      Click this button.

      Configure Phone Numbers in Campaigns

      Now let's configure your phone numbers in Campaigns! Return to your Home screen, and click "Campaigns."
      Click "Phone Numbers" in your smrtPhone phone center to bring up your list of phone numbers.
      Copy your phone number
      In Campaigns, click the little pencil in the **Cadences Number** line item to the correlating campaign name. Paste the appropriate phone number. \*Note: this is the phone number your SMS will come from in a campaign. This can technically be from a different phone number than you make inbound/outbound calls from if you choose. We recommend these two numbers being the same. Meaning... you text out from the same number you call out from.
      Get the next number on your list.
      And copy/paste into the next campaign field, and so forth until you have configured all of your phone numbers with campaigns.
      Click "Save"

      Configure Email Sequence Settings

      Return to "Setup," then type and click "Organization-Wide Addresses" in the "Quick Find" field.
      Click this button.
      Click the "*Display Name" field and type in your company name. Then, click email address and type the email address in that you would like your email sequences to come from.
      Click "Allow All Profiles to Use this From Address," and click "Save."
      You will get a verification email to that email address. Please be sure to head to that inbox and click to verify sharing this email with Salesforce.
      Copy your email address by dragging your cursor to select it and then copy.
      From the "Quick Find" field, type and Cclick "Custom Metadata Types"
      Click "Cadence Configuration"
      Click this button field.
      Click "Initial Configuration"
      Click this button field.
      Paste your email into the Email text field and then click save.
      Ensure all applicable users have the **Left Main Cadences Permission set** and **Left Main User permission set** (in order to have merge field options) enabled.
