If you've **previously installed** Dialpad in your Left Main/Salesforce org, check that you have the most recent package installed by visiting[Dialpad's Salesforce Appexchange listing](https://appexchange.salesforce.com/appxListingDetail?listingId=a0N3A00000Er9oqUAB).

Select the desired Left Main/Salesforce account to connect to.

Click **Log In with a Different Username**

You'll be redirected to the **Installed Packages** page in your org where you can confirm installation is complete.

Select **My company** from this dropdown.

Click **Add key**, then copy and save the generated API key in a safe place for future reference to complete configuration.

Select the **admin** user from this dropdown. In our case, it's **Left Main REI**.

After a few moments, the admin user should receive an email titled ***Dialpad users export for...***\

Open that email.

Save the **user ID(s)**, also known as **target ID(s)** displayed in the downloaded .csv file for future reference to complete configuration.

Let's get your cadences configured!\

Navigate to your Left Main org, and select this gear icon.

Type and select **Custom Metadata Types** from the **Quick Find** field.

Update the **Provider SMS** dropdown to **Dialpad**

Now we are going to configure the phone system. You will notice there are multiples including RingCentral and smrtPhone.\

For the purposes of this walkthrough, select **Dialpad Configuration**.

Input your Dialpad account's API key (saved earlier) in the **Access Token** field, and input your Dialpad User ID (saved earlier). Then click **Save**.

The steps above are completed on behalf of customers during implementation. Customers should **reference the steps below when adding new users**.

From the **Quick Find** field, type and select **Call Centers**.

Click this top checkbox to select all active users.

Type and select **User** in the **Quick Find** field.

Click and drag the **DialPad User Id** field down to the page layout.

Type and select **Users** in the **Quick Find** field.

Copy the applicable phone number from your **Dialpad account**.

Paste the **Dialpad User ID** into the associated field below. Paste the applicable **Dialpad phone number** into the **Phone** and **Mobile** fields in the applicable **User** record.

Confirm fields outlined below are complete on the **User** record for each team member.

If the "Use only this user Id?" checkbox is unchecked, the Dialpad user ID of the owner of the record will be used (see screenshot below).

If a user wants to use their personal number that's different from the primary UserID, make sure the "Use only this user Id?" checkbox is unchecked and add the new number in User's DialPad **User ID** field in **Custom Metadata Types&gt;Dialpad Configuration**.

Enter the desired org credentials, and click here.

Confirm Dialpad Account Settings are Enabled

Navigate to **Admin Settings** in your Dialpad account.

Enable the integration and adjust settings as desired. Visit <https://help.dialpad.com/docs/use-salesforce-for-dialpad> for Dialpad's help docs or contact their support team for more details.

Type and select **App Manager** from the **Quick Find** field.

Ensure the app is assigned to the user profiles of the users you want to enable, then select **Save**.
