If you've **previously installed** RingCentral in your Left Main/Salesforce org, check that you have the most recent package installed by visiting [RingCentral's Salesforce Appexchange listing](https://appexchange.salesforce.com/appxListingDetail?listingId=a0N3A00000EORsjUAH).

Open RingCentral's [**Customization Guide**](https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/RingCentral-Webinar-for-Salesforce-FAQ.html?brand=RingCentral&product=Webinar&language=en_US) in a separate tab for future reference.\
Select the checkbox, then **Visit Provider**.

You'll be prompted to sign into your org from RingCentral's website. For the purpose of this guide, we'll select **Production**.

You'll be redirected to the **Installed Packages** page in your org where you can confirm installation is complete.

Let's get your cadences configured!\

Navigate to your org, and select this gear icon.

Type and select **Custom Metadata Types** from the "Quick Find" field.

Update the **Provider SMS** dropdown to **RingCentral**

Phone System Configuration: Adjust Page Layout if Necessary

Now we are going to configure the phone system. You will notice there are multiples including RingCentral and smrtPhone.\

For the purpose of this walkthrough, select **RingCentral Configuration**.

Ensure all necessary fields are visible on the page layout.\
**Username** and **Password** fields are no longer needed.

Phone System Configuration: Complete Authentication Details

Click **Manage Ring Central Configuration**

Ensure all necessary fields are visible on the page layout. Then click **Save**. \

Contact your Left Main Implementation Specialist or [Customer Success Specialist](https://mailto:success@leftmainrei.com) for these values:

- **API Key**
- **Secret Key**

**Username** and **Password** fields are no longer applicable.

Type and select "RingCentral Admin for Lightning" in the "Quick Find" field.

Confirm you receive this toast message: "Call Center created successfully"\

Otherwise, follow RingCentral's Setup Wizard directions.

A new **Call Centers** tab opens. Click here.

Update this row to **Active equals true**.

Select the checkbox(es) next to each user requiring access to RingCentral.

Copy the URL from **CTI Adapter URL** field.\
\
Replace the rc\*\*\*.visualforce.com portion of the url with **rcsfl.vf.force.com.** \
\
In this demo org, the updated URL reads like \
**https://sanboxtest--rcsfl.vf.force.com/apex/OpenCTIIndex**\
\
Paste your updated URL into the **CTI Adapter URL** field.

The final page should look something like the screenshot below except with your own org domain name after **https://** and before **--rcsfl**.

Navigate to your org's home screen, and select **Phone** from the **Utility Bar**.

Return to the **RingCentral Admin Lightning Setup Wizard** and complete optional steps.

Launch Salesforce Setup
Open Setup Guide Window

Return to **Setup**, then type and select **Users** in the "Quick Find" field.

Copy the phone number from your **RingCentral account**.

Paste the appropriate RingCentral number into the user's **Phone** and **Mobile** fields. Note that the **phone number format** must begin with **+1** as shown below.

Confirm fields indicated below are complete on the **User** record for each team member.

Congratulations! You can now call and text directly from the RingCentral widget.

Ensure all applicable users have the **Left Main Cadences Permission set** and **Left Main User permission set** (in order to have merge field options) enabled.
