This guide is essential for effectively managing client addresses within your system, ensuring that billing processes run smoothly and preventing claim denials due to missing address information. It provides step-by-step instructions for editing and adding addresses.

**A Primary Address is *required* for billing.** If this card is left blank and notes are entered, the claims created from those notes will have an empty field that will result in denials. PLEASE ENSURE THERE IS AT LEAST ONE ADDRESS ON FILE PRIOR TO CASE NOTE ENTRY to avoid this issue down the road.

Navigate to the client's page and click the Edit Pencil on the Addresses Card to make edits/updates.

To edit an existing Address select the edit pencil on the applicable card.

Make updates as needed for the Address details.

Click "Save"

To add another address to the card select the Add New Card icon highlighted below.

Add all details for the new address into the template.

Click "Save"

Once there is more than one address card you will need to identify the "Primary" address that you'd like listed first on the address card. This will also be the address that pulls for the client for billing.

Click "make primary" to change the primary address, if needed.

Click "Save Changes"
