Connecting a Store and Generating API Key in ShipStation

Shipstation

Navigate to [https://ship14.shipstation.com/home](https://ship14.shipstation.com/home)

Click the settings tab.

Click "Selling Channels"

Click "Connect a Store"

Click the "URL to Custom XML Page" field enter: <https://liquorapps.com/Bcapi/api/BCGateway/BCGatewayShipStationOrderList>

Click the "Awaiting Shipment Statuses" field and enter "Preparing Shipment"

Click "Test Connection"

Click "Connect" after you receive the "Test Successful" notification.

Refresh the page and make sure you see the "New Custom Store" and click on the **actions** button.

Click "Edit Store Details"

Click the "Store Name" field and type "Bottlecapps Bevstack".

Click "Save Changes"

Next we are going to be getting the API Keys for the ShipStation account. If you're already using ShipStation, you may already have these keys saved/stored somewhere. If you do have them - you do not need to continue this step. Send them to your Bottlecapps rep.

Click "Account"

Click "API Settings"

Click "Generate API Key"

Click "Generate"

You will be asked to verify your account using your password again, then the API Key and API Secret will appear. \ **They will only appear once, so make sure you save them in a document somewhere.** \ Then send the key and secret to your Bottlecapps rep.
