Tip! This guide uses the HSNO module to explain how contacts are managed within BMIS, but the process is the same for all modules.

To access or change a building’s contact information, click "Contact Information" on the left pane.

You can add the contact information for multiple people or organizations involved with the location.

Once you’ve filled in all the required fields, click "Create Contact" to save the contact information.

A notification will confirm that the changes have been saved successfully.

You can copy contact information from other buildings in your account. To do so, click this checkbox.

A building dropdown will be enabled for you to choose where to transfer the information from.

You can also return to the desired contact and modify any fields that need to be changed.

Click the "Update Information" button to save the changes.

Updates to "Building" and "PCBU" information will apply to the contact information across all modules.

Alert! Aside from the "Building" and "PCBU" Contacts, which are the same across all modules, there are different contacts required across the different BMIS modules. What is shown in this guide is an example for the HSNO module only.

In contrast, updates to "Accountable Role" and "Certified Roles" apply only to the specific module in which you save them.
