Tip! This guide uses the Asbestos to module to demonstrate how to provide general access to the Contractor Portal, but is applicable to all modules in BMIS.

From the building dashboard, Click "Building Settings"

Tip! This will provide BMIS Contactor Portal access by time and person without the need for a username or password. You can use the "[General Access](https://bmis.nz/support/hsno/contractor-settings-general/)" method for allowing unrestricted access to the contractor portal.

The table shown lists the existing "Magic Link", including name, what modules are allowed, and the expiry date of the link. To create a new link, Click "Magic Link"

Enter the details of the person you wish to grant access to, followed by the modules you wish for them to access, and finally, the Magic Link expiry date.

Click "Create" to save. Note the option to email the link directly from BMIS.

Once the link has been created, you can click on the chain symbol to copy the link, and pass it on to the recipient manually.

To remove the Magic Link, Click on the Trash Can icon. You can also edit the link to update the modules that can be accessed, or update the link expiry date.

Tip! BMIS can also create custom Hybrid versions of the methods for accessing the contactor Portals. For example, a custom QR per building can be created and included into your branded safety materials, eliminating the need for a username and password, but still allowing unrestricted access.
