Tip! Inspection in the HSNO module are intended to be performed in order to perform a stock-take of what is physically held against the data in the inventory, and also to check for any issue before an official compliance inspection is undertaken by a external certifier

From the location dashboard, Click "Inspections".

The inspections table shows the status of current and recent inspection for the location. The Green eye icon represents a normal inspection, while the Yellow eye represents a 'read-only' inspection which provides read-only access to HSNO information, which may be useful for compliance officers. Clicking on the Eye icons provides access to view the inspection. The PDF icons provides a download of the PDF report associated with completed inspection, and the red box icon archives the inspection, to remove it from the Inspection List.

To create a new inspection, Click "New Inspection".

Select from your favorite list of inspectors, or click 'custom' to fill in the details of a new inspector, saving them as a favorite if you wish to use them again in future. If you wish to make the inspection view-only, Click the 'read-only' checkbox.

If your location has multiple layouts, you can select which ones are included in the inspection. At this point, the Layout needs to be matched with a inventory, this will happen automatically if there is only 1 inventory for the layout.

Click "Save and send inspection to Surveyor". This will email the inspector a 'magic link' which will provide access to the inspection pages without them needing to have a login and password. If you have assigned the inspection to yourself, click the same button to 'Save and proceed with inspection'.
