Enter the **Service Title.** You can be very detailed such as "3 Hour Tattoo" or very broad, "Tattoo Session". It's up to you.

There are 3 ways to set the price for a service:

1. Set the **Price** to be the same for all **Artists** (i.e. $800).

2. Set the **Price** to $0 or leave it blank if you prefer to enter the price during checkout.

3. Select **Use Artist's Hourly Rate**\
   If you select **Use Artist's Hourly Rate** to set the price for the service, the price will be the **Artist's Hourly Rate** times the **Service Duration**. For example, $200/hour \* 4 hours = $800.

   If you select **Use Artist's Hourly Rate**, you cannot change the price at checkout.\
   If you use option 1 or option 2, you can always update the price at checkout.

If you select **Don't Use Consent Form**, you will be able to proceed to **Checkout** from the **Appointment** without having a signed **Consent Form** on file.

You can also choose whether to **Apply Sales Tax** and set a **Service Description**

Set the **Service Duration**. The **Service Duration** must be at least 5 minutes long. You can always edit this from the **Appointment** screen to make it longer or shorter.

Set the **Buffer Time After Service**. This will prevent a new **Appointment** from being added immediately after a previous **Appointment**.

Create a new service that can be booked on the calendar. These Services can be paid (tattoos/piercings) or unpaid (such as consultations) and deposits are optional (you'll set up deposits and commissions on the Edit Artist page).
