Create a new channel on the desktop
Channels can only be created from the desktop version.

Navigate to "Chat"

Click "New channel"

Click this text field to type in and change the name of the channel

Click "Add Avatar" to add in a picture for the channel

Click in the "Write a message" field and type in your message

Click the green arrow to send the message to the channel
