Locate the desired location for the new activity. Click "Add an activity or resource".

Optionally, click "General Active quiz settings" to set additional options for how long students take to see and answer questions.

Click "Save and return to course" to confirm changes and return to the course page.

Locate and select the newly created quiz.

Select existing questions from the Question Bank or create new questions by clicking "Create a new question..." and creating quiz questions as usual.

Select all questions you wish to add to the Active Quiz.

From the dropdown menu, click "Move to...".

Move the questions to the Active Quiz and click "Move to".

Change the Question bank category to the active quiz bank.

Alter question settings if desired. Here, staff can adjust time-limits, attempt retries and question points.

After at least one question has been successfully added, click "View quiz" to be able to begin the quiz session.
