In this case, I've selected an Order Appointing Guardian Ad Litem - Probate and dragged it into place.

Give your workflow (questionnaire+automated templates) a name. Click "Save"

Hang tight, Gavel Blueprint can take 60 seconds or longer depending on document size.

Next you see your document, plus a list of all the possible questions that Blueprint thinks you may want to include in your questionnaire. Click "edit question details" to review and edit the suggestions.

You may want to change the question type it suggests. Here, I want to change the type from "Text Area" to "Text" so I click on "Text Area."

Click the dropdown to change the variable type.

And choose "Text" from the dropdown. This will change the question type to a regular text field.

Next, I may want to edit the suggested question. In this case, I don't want to ask "What is the nam?." I want to ask "What is the attorney's name?"

I may click on some of the fields in the PDF just to see what question they suggested. In this case, I'm clicking on the minor's date of birth field.

When I do that, I can then see what Blueprint has suggested. It suggested a Text question, but I want it to be a date question.

I can do this as much or as little as I want. When I'm satisfied, I will click "Draft Workflow"

It takes me to my newly created workflow. All the questions that were suggested to me and that I accepted are now questions in my workflow. I didn't have to manually create them. I can see them all on the left side of this page and make any additional edits here. For example, I could click "New Page" to add a page to my workflow.

Now I have a new page! If I want to see all my questions (aka variables), I can see them in the toolbar on the left.

If I want to drag a question from the first page to my new page, I can click on the little lines next to the question and start dragging.

Now I've moved the question to a new page.

Next, I want to just take a quick look at how my document was set up for me. I  Click "Document Templates."

Here I see a list of all the Document Templates attached to this workflow. In this case, it's just the Guardian ad Litem document. I Click "Tag" to see how the PDF fields are being matched to the questions in the questionnaire.

The yellow highlights show me all of fields that are matched to questions. If I click one, I will see on the right panel what it is connected to. Blueprint did this for me.

For example, I see that this checkbox is set to be checked if person_for_whom... is "A minor"

I'm satisfied with what I see. I Click "Save"

That window closes and I click "Save" on the workflow.

And now I start answering the questionnaire. I'm filling it in with dummy data.

I get to the review page where I can see all of my answers to the questions. I click "Continue"

Now I can grab my document! I click on the PDF to download it and save it in my files.
