Add a label - you can add different types of file uploads including handouts, draft/final paper uploads, presentation uploads and poster uploads.

Select the step type you want to add - in this example, the "Draft Paper File" option has been chosen.

You can also make a step for a final paper. You would make them separate steps.

Click "Create" when you have selected the type of step you want to create.

Select any and all file types you would like to allow.

You can make this step required (which means it would be red for the front-end user. If not required, the button will be white).

You can select which submission statuses or value IDs you want to make this step visible to - ex. only accepted for paper, or only those who are student presentations.

Click "Add New Step" to add more submission steps.

Select the "Multiple File Button" option. This is a good step for handouts or additional materials you would like to have users upload. If you use the mobile app, they can be displayed and saved by attendees.

To add the multiple files, click "Media File Field"

Type the label for this media file field.

Click to display each one. You can display each media field to all, or display to certain statuses or value ids.

Be sure to display the step, and make required if necessary.

Click edit to add more files to your media submission step and go through the same steps as above.

Click "Add New Step" to add a presentation file - this is another example of a file upload type. This isn't necessary - just an option if you need it.

Name your submission step for a presentation upload.
