From within the "Automations" screen, Click on "Create Workflow"

For this example, we will "Start from scratch". Click "Continue" in the "Start from Scratch" card.

Name your Workflow by clicking here and Typing a name of your choice for the Automation.

Adding a "Trigger" is the first step to any Workflow.  This "Trigger" is what begins your Automation.  Click here to add a Trigger.

For this example, we'll use "Contact Tag" as the Trigger.

Click "Add filters" to specify what contact tag actions you want to Trigger this Workflow Automation.

For this example we'll use "Tag Added".  When a tag is added to a contact within RipDrip, the automation we set up next will begin.

You can choose an existing Tag from the dropdown, or type a new Tag and click "Add New Tag".

Next we'll add our first Action.  Click the "+" icon to select an Action.

You can filter the available actions in the popup by typing some or all of the name of an action in the search box at the top.  For this example we'll put a Wait time in to delay the action.  Click "Wait".

Select a Wait time for this action.  For this example we'll choose 2 hrs.

Click the "+" icon to add our next Workflow step or Action.

For this example we're going to send our Contact an SMS message.  Select "Send SMS" from the Action Selection popup.

Type your desired message in the Message field.

"Custom Values" can be used to reference your Contact's specific details, so you can personalize your SMS message.  These "Custom Values" can be used anywhere through out RipDrip!

For this example we want to address the Contact by their First Name, so we'll choose "First Name" from the "Contact" menu within "Custom Values".  You can also refer to their Phone Number, Email, Address, or any other information that exists within your Contact's details.

The "Custom Value" will be inserted into your message and pull the appropriate Contact information for whichever Contact you are sending an SMS Message / Email / Etc.

You can also use Custom Values to reference your name, your company name, phone number, email, etc. 

Once your message is completed, click "Save Action"

To finalize your Workflow, Click the "Draft / Publish" slider so that "Publish" is selected.

Click "Save" and your Workflow is completed, live, and ready to be Triggered whenever your chosen Contact Tag has been added!
