Finding the Collaborative Document Content Item

Click on the line between content items or the purple plus icon.

Click "Cloud Collaboration", under Participating and Engagement.

You can add a Word, PowerPoint, or Excel spreadsheet to collaborate on.

If you already have a OneDrive document that you would like to use for the Collaborative Document, click "Select Existing Document".

Here, you will be able to select a file of your choosing.

Creating a New Document for Collaboration

You can create a Word, PowerPoint, or Excel spreadsheet for students to collaborate on.

Click the "Document Name" field and enter a document name. This is the name the document will be saved under in

Click the "Description" field to add a description of the document.

Click "Save" once you're done creating the document.

You can allow class conversations from the settings menu of the Collaborative Document.

Students and instructors can take part in a discussion about this document. Everyone can see the conversation.

You and your students will need to click "Edit Document" to work on the document, which will send you to OneDrive.

When using the Collaborative Document, click "Refresh" to see new changes to the document!
