Navigate to the Environments tab on the lefthand sidebar.

Click "Create New" to open the Environment Wizard.

Update the "Name" field with a module name with no spaces or special characters, in this case "Python-Data-Science".

Update the "Version" field with a module version following semantic versioning, in this case "`zero dot one dot zero`".

Update the "Description" field with a module description, in this case "A simple python data science environment module".

On the second step, you can see two fields, a modulefile function dropdown menu and the associated argument input field.

Click the modulefile function dropdown menu to select the desired function, in this case the "whatis( )" function.

Next, click the "Argument" input field to provide the associated argument.

In this case "Version `Zero Dot One Dot Zero`". Then, click the "add" button to the right of the form to add it to the list of modulefile commands.

It will populate in the space below the form.

Tip! a modulefile command is a combination of a modulefile function and an associated argument.

Repeat the process until you see a list of modulefile commands like this.

From here, you can either delete a command.

Or drag and drop rows to reorder them with your mouse.

Your new module will populate on the environment module dashboard, with the name and version shown on the module card.

Hovering over the "person" icon will showcase the owner of the module. A single person icon represents you as the owner.

More details about this environment module can be found on the right hand sidebar, including the name, version, owner, access permissions, and description.

Furthermore, you can also see the list of modulefile commands, in order, just beneath that on the modulefile tab.
