Click your name on the top right-hand corner of the screen

From the drop-down menu, click "Create New RFP"

Select the category of the job you need proposals for. 

If your category option is not available, select "General"

If you have a pre-written scope of work you would like to provide, select "Use a pre-written scope of work"

If you do not have a pre-written scope of work, select "Create the scope for me"

Click the upload box and select the pre-written scope of work you would like to use.

Begin answering questions that will be used to complete the scope of work

Continue answering questions that will be used to complete the scope of work

Advise if a specific vendor needs to be **invited to bid** on the job

Advise if a specific vendor needs to be **excluded** **from bidding**

Enter the instructions you want vendors to follow for site visits

Select your timeframe for when the board plans on awarding a vendor

Select the estimated annual budget range for this project:

**$10,000 or more: Full Bid Desk Solution**

VendorSmart will:

- Generate the Scope of Work
- Invite Vendors to Bid on the Job
- Coordinate site visits
- Compile bid and deliver board-ready packet

**Under $10,000: BidDesk Lite**

VendorSmart will:

- Generate the Scope of Work
- Invite Vendors to Bid on the Job

The Community Manager will:

- Coordinate Site Visits
- Guide Vendors to upload bids to VendorSmart
- Generate the bid package on VendorSmart

**Unknown / Budgeting:**

VendorSmart will:

- Generate the Scope of Work
- Invite Vendors to bid on the Job
- Provide a minimum of one bid with price to community manager
