Click here to create a new task, alternately yoou can click the black button on the right to create a new task as well.

Click the "Create a Task Name" field and add the task description in this field in order to create the task.

Click "Create Task" at the bottom of the new window to save task to the opportunity.

Click here to change any associations for the task such as opportunity and deal owner as well as company details.

Click the drop down arrow to close the association options and get back to the main view of the task.

Click "To Do" to bring up the stage options that the task is in

Select "to Do", "In Progress" or "Complete" to indicate your current stage

Click and drag to your current level of completion based on your task

Add any additional information that may be related to the task at hand so any invited users can see the purpose of the task.

Add any additional notes at the bottom for specific attention to users assigned to the task or to add important information

Click "Add Note" to save the new note details for the task

Click here to create a new sub task that might need to be performed related to the main task

Sub-Task information can be added here by adding the task name, description, task owner information, progress and due dates.

Select task owner at the top left and multiple owners can be added for visibility.

Select task owner from the drop down list that comes up.

Update the due date by selecting the date field

Select a date on the calendar or any pre-populated date range on the left of the window.

Click the "--:-- --" field to select a time for the selected date as well for greater accuracy.

Click "Make It Public" so that anyone can view the task details

Click "Make It Private" to make sure that only users associated with the task can view the information

Click "Make It Private" to save the option

Click here to add any files associated with this specific task

Only click this option once the task has been 100% completed as all information is auto-saved when entered and this will remove the task from all views.
