Our custom booking form feature allows you to gather important information from customers at the time of booking, such as event location, times, special requests, and even share files, terms and conditions, and more.

One of the most critical details to collect is the event location. Typically, our onboarding specialists will add this field for you shortly after you sign up. However, if you operate from a fixed location (like a shop, salon, or studio) and all your bookings take place there, you won’t need to include an event location field.

From your dashboard, select 'custom forms'

If one of our onboarding specialists have already added the event location field for you, it will appear here.

If you’re working through the setup quickly and reach this step before we do, no problem—you can add the location field yourself. Simply click **Create Form** to get started.

Name your form (your customers won't see the title)

In the services section, choose which services you would like this form to show up for. Some services may require different types of forms or information, so you can pick and choose who see's what here.

Here you can build your form. For definitions on what each section does, head to this page 'Explaining the custom form sections'

In this example, I would like to get the full event location and postcode, so I am using the 'Text area' option.

In the label you can add a title. If you would like to add a placeholder, you can do that here too.

Here I have added a 'Text input' box to find out what time the customer wants me to arrive.

Once added to the form, the terms & conditions link appears as a clickable link

I am going to add a check box option underneath for the customer to tell me they have read and undersood my terms.

To add choices, I scroll down and click 'add new'. Once I have finished adding to my form I click 'SAVE FORM'.
