Creating and Managing a Buyer Agreement in Loft47

This guide shows how to create and fully configure a buyer agreement in Loft47—from selecting the agent and naming the agreement, to setting dates, fees, adding people, uploading documents, and linking the agreement to deals. Follow it to ensure all required fields, approvals, and deal associations are completed so the agreement is valid and traceable in the system.

**Create a New Buyer Agreement**\ Click "Buyers Agreements"

Click "New"

Click the "Search Agents by Name" field.

Click the "Agreement Name" field.

Add the "Contract Date".

Add the "Expiry Date".

Click this number field.

Enter Retainer Fee if any. \ Click "Save" to save this agreement.

Click **Details** if you need to edit the agreement information, such as the **Agreement Name, Status, Commission, or Retainer Fee**.

Click "Saving"

Click "Save"

Click **Dates** if you need to edit the agreement dates, such as the **Contract Date** and **Expiry Date**.

In this example, we updated Expiry Date from Dec 31, 2026 to 2027. \ Click "Save" to confirm.

Click "People"

Click "New"

Click the "Search by name, email or company name" field.

Select the **Role** and choose **BUYER**.

Click "Save"

Go to "Documents" to upload related documents.

Click "Upload File"

Click "Request Approval"

Click "View Deals"

Click the "Search by MLS#, Address, Agent or Deal #" field.

Click "Deal -"

Click the **Deal** to link it to the buyer agreement. If you need to unlink it later, click **Remove**.

For example, click the selected deal **“133-2026-0046 – 138 183 Lake Street”** to go directly to the deal page.

In the deal, click the linked **Buyer’s Agreement** to go back to the Buyer’s Agreement.

Click **✕** to remove the link to the Buyer’s Agreement.

**That's it!** \ Your buyer agreement is now set up and linked to the deal, making it easy to keep the agreement and supporting documents together and trace the agreement from the transaction.
