To customize fields, go to More -&gt; Customize -&gt; Click "Custom Fields"

Tip! Please note that the Name and Asset# fields are mandatory by default and cannot be changed

Click the dropdown to see which items you want to display the field for. For instance, in the following screen, we will uncheck the description field for asset stock so it does not appear for any items marked as asset stock

To make a field mandatory across Items, select the checkbox under "Mandatory?"

Tip! Please note that fields have the option "display on" for Asset, Asset Stock and Inventory based on the use of each item. For instance, Asset stock and Inventory are consumable items, so they will not appear in the drop down for fields like "Salvage Value"

The same goes for fields like "Location Specific Thresholds" because they only apply to Asset Stock and Inventory, and so, won't appear for Assets
