To run the Lender's DU, the broker will first need to pull a credit report or reissue an existing credit report. Begin by navigating to your Loan Pipeline

Locate your loan and click on the loan number

Click the "Send"  button next to "Credit Report"

Select the "Contact" from the dropdown for your preferred credit vendor

Select the "Request Type" for the type of credit report you would like to pull. You can choose to "Order New Report or "Re-Issue Existing Report".

Select the "Credit Report" for the borrower(s) you will be pulling or reissuing credit within the system

Click "Send Request". The credit report will be automatically uploaded into the "Documents" tab of the loan file and available under the "View" button of the credit report on the "Actions tab".

The next step is to run the Lender's DU. Click the "Send" button next to "AUS" in the "Actions" tab.

Select "Fannie Mae (DU)" in the Contact dropdown

Select the "Request Type" from the dropdown

If the user selects "Underwriting with Merge Credit" from the "Request" Type" dropdown, then the system will display all the available credit report providers in the dropdown to reissue an existing broker's credit report.

Click "Send Request". After the broker registers a loan with the Lender, the system will retain the credit report, DU results, borrower's credit report identifier and documents associated with the loan for the Lender's Underwriter to review.\

If a broker has not run the credit report before the loan registration, the Lender user will need to enter the correct credit report identifier when running DU, Underwriting with Merged Credit.
