What is Deleting Cookies?

Cookies are small pieces of data stored in your web browser by websites you visit. They serve various purposes such as remembering login details, site preferences, and tracking user activity. Deleting cookies refers to the process of removing these stored data from your browser, which can help protect your privacy and ensure a clean browsing experience.

Deleting Cookies on Chrome

Open the Chrome browser and click on the browser menu icon and navigate to 'settings'.
Click on 'privacy and security' on the menu on the left-hand side of the screen and navigate to 'Clear browsing data'.
In the 'Privacy and security' section, click on 'Clear browsing data.' A pop-up window will appear. In this window, select 'Cookies and other site data.
Choose the time range for which you want to delete cookies or select "All time" to delete all cookies. Click on the "Clear data" button to delete the selected cookies.

Deleting Cookies on Firefox

Open the Firefox browser, open the Firefox browser, and click on the browser menu and select 'settings'.
Navigate to 'privacy and security' and scroll down to the 'Cookies and Site Data' section.
Click on the 'Clear Data...' button, and a clear data popup will appear.
Make sure the box next to "Cookies and Site Data" is checked.
Click on the "Clear" button to delete the selected cookies.

Deleting Cookies on Microsoft Edge

Open Microsoft Edge browser and click on the browser menu and select 'settings'.
In the Settings menu, click on "Privacy, search, and services" from the left-hand side panel.
Scroll down the settings until you find the "Clear browsing data" section. Click on "Choose what to clear".
In the "Clear browsing data" window, you'll see various options. Make sure "Cookies and other site data" is selected. You can also choose other data types to clear if you wish.
Once you've selected the data types you want to delete, click on the "Clear now" button. Edge will then remove the selected data, including cookies. After completing these steps, your cookies will be deleted from Microsoft Edge
