Dining Options are where we deposit the Order in the POS. This is generally displayed at the top of the ticket. Note: Dining Option may be called different based on the POS.
Navigate to Dining Options

Navigate to [https://mm.itsacheckmate.com/](https://mm.itsacheckmate.com/)

Click on **"Onboarding Portal"**

Click on the Brand you would like to set Payment and Dinning Options for

Click on **"View Tasks"** of the Location you would like to set the Payment Options for

Click "6 Payment & Dining Options"

Click here.

Click on the **"Payment & Dinning Options"** step and then click on **"GET STARTED"**
**Note:** You must complete the previous steps in the Onboarding Journey before setting Payment and Dinning Options. If they have not been completed, this section will be grayed out.

Once here, you can navigate to Dining Options and set a General Structure oran Ordering Platform Specific Structure
Dining Options: General Structure
Select **"General Structure"** if you prefer general dining options to be used for orders received from ordering platforms. For example: Pick Up and Delivery. This structure works best for operations that: 1) are only integrating one ordering platform into their POS 2) do not need to distinguish between ordering platforms on kitchen checks, customer receipts, or daily reports OR 3) using a POS that does not allow custom dining options

Click on **"Option 1 - General Structure"**. This will revel additional settings you must set, which are: - Do you perform self delivery? - Pickup Set the required settings for this question and click on "**Save and Complete"**
Dining Options: Ordering Platform Specific Structure
Select **"Ordering Platform Specific Structure"** if you prefer specific dining options to be used for orders received from ordering platforms distinguished by ordering platform name (Uber, Grubhub, Slice, etc.) and order type (pick up or delivery). For example: Uber Eats - Pick up, Uber Eats - Delivery. This structure works best for operations that: 1) are integrating many ordering platforms into their POS 2) need to distinguish between ordering platforms on kitchen checks, customer receipts, or daily reports AND 3) using a POS that allows for custom dining options.

Click on **"Option 2 - Ordering Platform Specific Structure".** This will revel additional questions which will allow you to set "Default Settings" or Ordering Platform specific settings. Set the required setttings for this question and click on "**Save and Complete"**
