1
Select a star using its KIC number, for example, "1163576".
2
Click on ".FITS" to view all Long Cadence light curve files.
3
4
Click on ".TAR" to download all the FITS files as a TAR archive.
5
Click on "SIMBAD" to find the selected star in the SIMBAD database.
6
7
Click on "SEARCH" to retrieve information about the selected star, including its KIC number, 2MASS/Gaia identifier, Alpha (Right Ascension), Delta (Declination), Noise Level ad False Alarm Probability values.
8
KIC number - Kepler Input Catalog number.
9
2MASS / Gaia - identifier from the 2MASS (Two Micron All Sky Survey) and Gaia catalogs.
10
Alpha - Right Ascension in degrees. It's a coordinate in the equatorial coordinate system that measures the angular distance of an object along the celestial equator from the March equinox.
11
Delta - Declination in degrees. It's a coordinate in the equatorial coordinate system that measures the angular distance of an object north or south of the celestial equator.
12
Noise Level - The standard deviation of the light curve, indicating the variability in the observed brightness over time. Unit: magnitudes.
13
FAP 1 - False Alarm Probability for signals with frequencies up to 0.15 cycles per day. Indicates the likelihood that a detected signal is due to noise.
14
FAP 2 - False Alarm Probability for signals with frequencies between 0.15 and 2 cycles per day.
15
FAP 3 - False Alarm Probability for signals with frequencies between 2 and 25 cycles per day.
16
Click on ".CSV" to export the table data to a CSV file.
17
Click on ".DAT" to export the table data to a DAT file.
18
View the interactive light curve plot (Lomb-Scargle periodogram) in the right top section.
19
Zoom in and out on the plot to explore details, and use the home button on the plot menu to return to the default view. Save the plot as a PNG by clicking the camera button.
20
21
Click on "FPS .PNG" to view the frequency-power spectrum plot.
22
23
Download the light curve data as a CSV file by clicking on ".CSV". The data includes time in JD, magnitude values \[logarithmic scale of brightness\], and corresponding error in magnitudes.
24
Download the light curve data as a DAT file by clicking on ".DAT".
