Navigate to the **Financial Years** section of your **Client Setup** to setup the correct **Year End** dates, the number of **Years to Present** or to set up **Management Account Dates** for your **Client Engagement.**

Capitals are strange here, adjusted, reflect more

**Number of Years to Present** can be adjusted to reflect more than 2 years on the **Annual Financial Statements**, or only 1 year for the First Year of Trading

You can present up to 5 years on the **Annual Financial Statements**, which will reflect on the **SoFP, SoCI** and **SoCE** only

Please note after **two weeks** of creating the Client File, the **Year End Date** field will **lock**.

The **Year End Date** should not be adjusted to accommodate **Management Account** dates, to adjust the **Management Account** dates please see the following steps.

If you would like to convert the **Client Engagement** into a **Management Accounts**, there are two settings that need to be adjusted. You should not change the **Year End Date** setting.

To set up **Management Accounts**, select the **Management Accounts** checkbox

Please make the boxes around the override dates the same size

This will activate the **Current** and **Prior Period End Override Dates**, select the **Calendar Icon.**

Choose the correct period end dates for the **Current** and **Prior** period for your **Management Accounts**.

Adjust the **Reporting Period** to reflect the correct period for the **Management Accounts.**

Please make the boxes around the override dates the same size and then the reporting period and Override checkbox the same as well. This looks a little untidy

In this example the **Management Accounts** have been setup for **10 Month** **Management Accounts**, ending **31 December 2024**

**Management Accounts** **Date Settings** on the **Management Statements**

To deactivate **Management Accounts**, deselect the **Management Accounts** checkbox, and update the **Reporting Period** to **12 Months - Annual Financials**.

If you are preparing **Financial Statements** for a certain time period you can adjust the wording without activating the **Management Accounts**. To do this select **Override.**

On the Drop-down next to **Current Period End Override**, Select the **Period End Date** for the Financial Statements.

Adjust the **Reporting Period** to the correct **Reporting Period** for the **Financial Statements**

Overriding the **Current Period End Override** and **Reporting Period** will update the description on the **Financial Statements**, instead of referencing to **Annual**, it will reference to the selected number of months for the period ending with the **Override Date.**

In this example the Financial Statement have been setup for **10 Month** **Financial Statements**, ending **31 December 2024.**

**Financial Accounts** **Date Settings** on the **Financial Statements.**

To give a unique name to your **Financial Statements**, select **AFS Name Override,** and in the field provided insert the preferred name.

To revert back to **Annual Financial Statement**, deselect the **AFS Name Override** check box.

Select **Restated** for the relevant year, to **Restate Tax Year Figures**

To deactivate **Restated,** select **Restated** and clear the checkbox.
