**Locking Client Engagement**, will prevent access into the file for any unauthorised changes. The file will only be able to be **unlocked** by a **User** with **Partner Access**.

Navigate to your [Client List](https://cloud.draftworx.com/#/clients) screen

Go to the **Client Engagement**  you wish to Lock, select the **Striped Menu Button**

To confirm **Locking** the **Client Engagement**, select **Lock**

Once **Locked** the **Client Engagement** will have the **Locked Icon**

**Partners** and **Managers** can **Unlock** the **Client Engagement**. To **Unlock** the **Client Engagement** follow the steps below.

Go to the **Locked Client Engagement,** select the **Striped Menu Button**

To **Unlock** the file, select **Unlock**

Once **Unlocked**, the **Client Engagement** will be accessible.
