**Page Numbers** are automatically generated based on the **Active** sheets and the order they are presented in.

If you have an external **Audit** or **Compiler Report**, keep the respective **Report** **Active** in the **Annual Financial Statements** to automate the **Page Numbers** correctly throughout the **Annual Financial Statements.** Refer to our Article on [Inserting a PDF](https://draftworx.helpjuice.com/en_US/cloud/inserting-pdfs-into-your-financials-cloud) to replace a Report.

Navigate to the **Index** sheet on the **Annual Financial Statements.** Before you preview the **Page Numbers** will not be generated, the system will just say **Preview to Update.**

Select **Preview,** if you want the **Page Numbers** to update.

When previewed the **Index** will reflect the **Page Numbers** accordingly

**Page Numbers** will update to the **Directors' Responsibilities and Approval** **Report** automatically
