Select the Arrow on the **Orange Line** to Select the Bank Account from the **Working Trial Balance**

Select the Arrow on the **Orange Line** to select the Vat Account from the **Working Trial Balance**

To add Additional Bank Accounts, add the Bank Account on the Orange Line and Press Enter

Once the **Cashbook** is created for the Selected Bank Account, Select the date for the first transaction by using the Drop down

Select the Arrow to Choose the relevant account for the transaction in the **Working Trial Balance**

Insert the Inclusive amount under **Inclusive,** The **Vat Rate** can be adjusted if necessary. The **Excluding** and **Vat Amount** is calculated automatically. Add the **Description** for the transaction.

**Transaction Date:** Select the Date of the Transaction.

**Account:** Select the Account that will be affected by this transaction

**Including:** Enter the full Transaction value.

**VAT:** Mark the transaction as VAT inclusive or exclusive. This will be deactivated if you do not have a VAT Account selected for the Cashbook.

**VAT rate:** Default as per the VAT Rate in the Client Setup under Additional Disclosures.

**Excluding:** This amount automatically calculated.

**VAT Amount:** This amount is automatically calculated if the transaction includes VAT.

**Description:** Enter a Description for the transaction.

Deselect **VAT**, if not applicable for this transaction. Press Enter to create the Transaction.

Process the Next Transaction on the Orange line, by following steps 8- 12

On the **Working Trial Balance**, the Transactions processed on the **Cashbook** are populated in the **Transactions** Column.

The **Cashbook** can be Exported to Excel by selecting **Export Selected Cashbook** or **Export All Cashbooks** to export more than one Cashbook.

Browse to the **Location** where the Cashbook must be Saved

The Selected Cashbook is exported to Excel

The **Cashbook** can be Imported by Selecting **Import Custom Layout,** to import a Cashbook that does not have a Draftworx Layout and **Import DX Layout**, to Import a Cashbook with Draftworx Layout

Browse to the **Location** where the Cashbook is Saved

To Import a Cashbook with a Custom Layout, Allocate each Column to the Sections on the Right

When Importing the **Cashbook** from Excel, the **Required Fields** are : **Account Number, Account Name, VAT Inclusive Amount, VAT Exclusive Amount**

The **Cashbook** is Imported Successfully
