Edit Default Price, Quantity and Description for Services

In this tutorial you will see how to edit the default price, quantity and 'long description' (which can be displayed on quotes/invoices) for a service on Squeegee.

Editing Default Price

Click into 'Services'.

Then select the service you would like to edit.\ You will be able to see all of the jobs under that service and the details of those jobs.

Click the top right three dots to bring up the different editing options. In this example I will start with 'Edit Default Price'.\ You can then type the new price into the textbox provided and click 'Save'.

Editing Default Quantity

Click into the three dots again and this time select 'Edit Default Quantity' and start typing the new quantity into the textbox. Then press 'Save'.

Editing the Description

Click the top right three dots > 'Edit Description'.

You can then enter a 'long description' of the service and click 'Save' when you are finished.

This will appear as the 'Long Description' when you click into the service. You will also have the option to display this on quotes/invoices - to enable this for quotes go to Settings > Quotes > Enable 'Show Long Description on Quotes'. For invoices, go to Settings > Invoicing & Payments > Enable 'Show Long Description on Invoices'.
