Editing Locked Sections in a Datapeople Template

Navigate to <https://app.datapeople.io/app/settings/templates> and click the template you want to edit.
Please note that a template can’t be edited directly while it is published. To make changes to the template, you will need to unpublish it.

To unpublish the template, first click "Template".

Then click "Hidden Template". This action will hide the template, making it editable.

The purple sections in the template are locked for users once published. Admins can still edit these sections while the template is unpublished. Although they appear locked, clicking on them allows editing.

The white sections in the template will be unlocked for users when the template is published. Admins can edit these sections while the template is unpublished.

Once you have made all the changes and the template is ready to be published, first click "Hidden Template."

Then click "Template". This action will publish the template.
