Navigate to the post or Page where you wish to edit text.

To load into Elementor's builder, hover over an item and click "Edit with Elementor."  New items may not show this option initially.  If this happens click "Edit" first then the blue "Edit with Elementor" button.

Select whichever widget you wish to edit by clicking on it or hovering over it and clicking the pink pencil box that appears.

Notice the heading changes to the selected widget as indicted by the arrow. Note that under the header, we are currently viewing the "Content" tab as indicated by the white underline. Notice the tabs by the orange "1, & 2". Whenever possible, it is recommended to use "Text" when editing text.

Alert! Copying and pasting text from outside sources into the "Visual" tab may carry over unwanted formatting and text options. To solve this, "paste without formatting" or "paste as plain text" wherever possible. Sometimes holding (Shift + Right Click) may show these extended options. Alternatively, use the "Text" tab to copy and paste without concern.

The "Text" tab is recommended if you are copying or pasting content.  Switch to it with a simple mouse click.

The text is now easily editable using the tools inside the orange box.

If you want more control over the formatting, navigate to the "Visual" tab marked by "1". You can then make the text box fullscreen by clicking the button marked by "2". You can show even more tools and options by clicking the button marked "3" called "Toggle Toolbar".

Best practice is to use global font colors and settings to keep things consistent.  Let's take a look at the "Style" tab to view those settings and making editing even faster.

Clicking the globe icon will load all global stylizations saved to that category.  You can use these to quickly apply pre-configured formatting that is tailored to responsive design for all screen sizes.  To edit or change these global settings, use the menu by the "1" in the top left hand side.

Don't forget to save your changes when you are done!  The "Update" button will make the changes live for visitors to see.  If it's not quite ready, click the "^" symbol marked by "2" and save the changes as a draft.
