From the billing manager page, you should be able to see the unbilled transactions for all of the patients at the bottom

You can either bill all of those transactions or you can add an additional criteria.

In this instance, I wanted to bill based on the submitters or "X12 Partners".

Click this dropdown and select the submitter that you would like to use.

Click "Update List". Your transactions at the bottom will then refresh to the transactions based upon the submitter that you chose.

Click "Select All" to select all those transactions

Click "Validate Only" to do a dry run before creating your official ebilling

These were the results. This error is because it allows you to send directly to the clearinghouse which has not been set up yet. Also, one of the claims does not have the submitter assigned. If the patient's insurance has been entered, the submitter will automatically be assigned based upon their insurance.

As previously mentioned, the X12 partner is generally automatically assigned by the insurance but because this patients insurance has not been entered, you can assign the X12(Submitter) right there from the dropdown on the billing manager as shown below.

Now to do the actual billing without the dry run validation, Click "X12 OPTIONS"

Click "Close" and your ebilling should be sent directly to your clearinghouse or if your ftp has not been set up in the system, the efile will go to your downloads.

Now we are going to the printed HCFA's. Click "HCFA FORM"

Click "Validate Only" for another dry run.

For the actual billing, again Click "HCFA FORM"

Click "Continue". Your HCFA form will go to your Downloads folder where you can then print on your preprinted form.
