If you are grading a Group Forum, you can filter which group you want to mark by using the dropdown menu.

Select the "Grade users" button to start grading.

You can navigate through students posts by using the arrow buttons.

It is also possible to view the entire discussion thread by selecting the "View discussion" button. This is useful if you would like to see some additional context.

For example here we can see the original post the student has replied to.

If the Forum has "Simple direct grading" as the Grading Method. You can simply enter the numerical grade in the "Grade" field.

If the Forum has "Marking Guide" as the Grading Method. You can simply enter the numerical grade in the "Score out of..." field.

When using a Marking Guide, you also have the option to provide additional comments.

If the Forum has "Rubric" as the Grading Method. You can simply select whichever criterion best fits for the students post.

When using a Rubric, you also have the option to provide additional feedback.

Once you are satisfied with the grade, Click "Save".
