Type the name of the category then click the blue 'Add' button.

Click the "Sort Order" dropdown to choose how you want to sort your items.

By Category First, Then Item Number
By Category First, Then Item Name
By Item Number

If you are sorting by category first, make sure all of the items have an assigned category otherwise they will default to show before your assigned categories. 

Enter in the sort order for the categories.

If you would like to sort by item number, choose that from the sort order drop down. You are still able to assign a category to your items as well. Categories help bidders to choose a specific group of items to bid on without having to scroll through all of the items. 

On the manage items page, you are able to add the created categories to the items individually or via batch update.

You are can also create new categories.

Click this dropdown to choose a category then click the blue 'Update Item' button.

You can batch update the categories for your items by selecting the check box next to the item's name. Then scroll down to the Batch Update section and select the 'Category' box. Click Update.

Only the 'Electronics' categorized items will show. 

Each item will show the category it was assigned.

Click the drop down arrow next to "All Items" to view your categories.

If you created several item categories and did not assign some to items, they will not appear for the bidder.
