Navigate to the Settings page of your EZO CMMS account and search for "Auto Check-in" under "Company Settings & Addons." Now click "Enabled"

Alert! This functionality will not work if custody verification is pending or mandatory fields are required at check-in. Asset can never be auto checked-in if Location or Signature Pad is made mandatory on check-in.

Now, head over to the Items module, select Assets, choose an Asset you wish to check out. In this example, we picked "Hyster Forklift".

Select the asset **→** click "Actions" **→** click "Checkout". Please note that you can also check out an asset by going into its detail page.

A new "Checkout Asset" window will appear, where you can enable the "Auto Check-in" option, set the desired date and time for the asset's return, choose the user to whom the asset will be checked out, and specify the location.

The asset will be successfully checked out and automatically checked back in at the specified date and time.
