Navigate to the Admin Menu &gt; Manage Exams

You will land on your Exams Dashboard.  Navigate to the "Exams to Grade" tab if you are not taken there by default.

Click on the Exam Progress icon to navigate to the dashboard of grading tasks assigned to you or click on the Post Title.

You will land on the exam grading dashboard for the selected exam. You can grade the exam by student (vertical grading), or by question (horizontal grading).

Click on the name of the student or the question to begin grading.

You will be directed to the exam or question for grading. At the top of the page you will see submission details. Depending on how the question has been configured, you may see "Correct Answer" details, guiding you on what a correct answer contains. You may be able to provide optional feedback to the learner. You must submit a score and **click save.**

**Caution: There is no auto-save function when grading exams.** Click "Save" on each question, or "Save All" from the top control panel if available.

Use the left side panel to navigate to other student responses, or the "Next/Previous Student" buttons at the top of the page.  Be sure to save your progress before moving on.

"Save All" will be available when grading by student. Use the Next/Last Student buttons to navigate to other exams/questions after saving your progress.

Once completed, your grading tasks will appear in the "Completed" section of the dashboard.
